Every time I fix my game and get everything working without crashing they put out an update and I'm back to square one all over again. I don't pay (game and server) to have restart the game from scratch because support wants to blame my system which is above minimum requirements being played at low settings just to help their game out, simply not respond AT ALL because their ticket system only allows for submissions to report cheaters or PVP issues or log into my server and change a couple of player settings that have nothing to do with server files whatsoever (yes we can see what support does when they access our servers) and say its fixed when it isn't. I wasn't able to install the update on my server at all because it restarts every 2 minutes and after starting from a different save file it just didn't recognize there was an update at all and stayed on the previous build so it's inaccessible in Steam, the only platform it's set to play from. My steam account says it's updated. It was working beautifully the day before yesterday but since installing the update the game it crashes as soon as I click single player. I've don't all the things suggested aside from wiping it and starting over. I already did that a week ago. I'm not doing it again. I don't want to lose all the work I've put into my game, all my dinos and base because I use APPROVED mods to build and store in. If it was working fine before the update the update is what broke it. If you give sole ownership over game servers to one company that company should be able to resolve customer issues in a timely manner without lying to them claiming they fixed something they clearly didn't even bother to do. My complaint was the update wouldn't install. They claimed they fixed it. When I started my server it instantly went right back to "installing" and restarting every 2 minutes. What part of that says the issue was resolved as my ticket claimed it was? It's no wonder this company suffers from financial issues. They care more about the next big thing than they do about making the current thing usable. They should sell this franchise to another dev who has the integrity and business sense to know what creates profits is returning customers, not just new ones. This could be such an amazing game if it were consistently playable. What drives people away isn't the game its the game support. It's a circus train wreck. All I want to do is play your game and you're making it impossible but you just keep releasing new content even though current content is so fragile the clouds break it. Take a lesson from FFXIV. When their original world game build was too graphics heavy that a flower pot made it unplayable they learned from their mistakes, hired devs who knew how to build a game. It's very obvious whomever hires for support has no clue if the level of knowledge their hires require to do their job, either that or they just don't care.
